Porcelain Museum
Porcelain making has been around for thousands of years. It is an art, a means of expression, a cultural identifier, and a societal artifact. For Jingdezhen porcelain not only represents a form of art but also a livelihood for its residents and officials. Here, the best materials are extracted from the earth and through a concise set of operations are transformed into one of the world’s best porcelain.

As with Porcelain, the design envisions a transformative Architecture, a building that grows from the site. The museum and exhibition hall showcases artwork and craftsmanship from the region and includes an amphitheater for performances and other cultural events. The architectural design aims to represent the creation and journey of porcelain making from raw earth minerals into fine porcelain.
Softwares used in this development include Rhino 3d, Sketch-up, Adobe Suite and CAD.
